Emerald Air Services responded to it’s first request for service on February, 4th 1987. At that time our service area was known as the miracle strip. City fathers were proposing a change in the local image in order to attract the attention of potential visitors to our beautiful beaches. One of our local breathtaking views, was and continues to be the site you see when crossing the Destin Bridge on a brilliant sunny day with an incoming tide. The spectacular colors of the Gulf of Mexico rushing into the Choctawhatchee Bay leaves you with a memorable experience and spawned the name cognizant of the awesome scene all along our sugar white beaches.
The Emerald Coast has lived up to it’s name sake attracting the attention of many who are long since happy they discovered our previously sleepy remote area. Emerald Air Services was spawned during that image changing local campaign and of course we felt a paralleled feeling of leaving our customers with a similar image once they had the chance of meeting us. We wanted them to have a satisfied memorable experience. One that filled them a sense of trust and confidence in our ability to surround them in comfort, treat them fairly, be a source of information concerning the latest industry trends, be available when the need arose for service no matter when, be a positive reinforcement when helping them through a situation that they probably don’t expect a failed system.
One of our first Founding Partners, taught us the belief that nothing was impossible, but to be sensitive and caring about those situation that could turn out to be improbable, and thus causing a home owner or business person to be faced with a potential stressful situation, and or financial decision.
When many homeowners have told us that a system couldn’t be repaired, or a problem could not be solved, it’s was after we had already remedied the situation. This “Don’t Give Up “ attitude was instilled in us by Paul Wagner, a father, uncle and respected mentor, and we’ve carried on this practice ever since. Through the years, we’ve taught new additions of our Emerald Air Services family, all that time has given us the opportunity to absorb and learn from.
We’ve continued to maintain our involvement in the community, with little league sponsorship, Boy Scout support, community fund raisers, bikes or bust campaigns, individually part of our own church affiliations, helping the homeless, feeding the hungry, and lending a hand when needed.
We are all active with our own lives, and with hobbies like fishing, which many of the Emerald dudes have honed to precision, while keeping it satisfying, raising children to be vital and meaningful member of our community.
One thing we know for sure - All the clients that have believed in us through the years, those that have given us their confidence, trusted our abilities, those that have told many of their relatives, friends and neighbors. All of those that have been part of the same community we started in, back in 1987, and those we are honored to call neighbors today, “Deserve the best we have to offer when we are called to serve their needs.”
